Get a library card – Any person upon presentation of proper identification, regardless of place of residence, is eligible for a library card.

Interlibrary Loan – Borrow a book from another library.

Book Club Books – Borrow multiple copies of a book for your book club.

Books by design – Be on the list for books by all your favorite authors and their new releases.

1:1 tech help – Did you get a new tablet, but have no idea what to do? We can help!

Genealogy Department – The genealogy department has lots of local historical documents for all patrons to view.

Access your account online – If you want to reserve or renew your items, you can!  You can also set up your account to receive text or email message reminders.

Books for Seniors – If you are unable to get out of the house, we will have librarians pull books for you and volunteers deliver them to your home!

Ask a librarian – Ask us any question you might have – be it books, movies, research, or something totally out of this world!

Story Kits, Science Kits, & Puppets – These items are available for check out by adults.

Suggestion for Purchase – Is there something in the library we do not own but you think we should?  Let us know by filling out this form!  We appreciate all suggestions.

Proctoring – If you are taking classes online and need someone to proctor your test, the library can help. Email or give us a call. Proctoring hours are generally 9 am – 3 pm (Mon-Fri), but it is necessary to set up an appointment ahead of time.

Notary services – We have two notary publics available for all patrons who might need documents witnessed and signed.  General hours are Mon-Fri 9-5 and 6-9pm on Wednesdays, but please call the library to make sure one is here. One notary public speaks Spanish. Please note that a notary is not an attorney licensed to practice law in this state is not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities.

Faxing – The library will fax documents for you for a small fee. Our fax number is  712-722-1235.

Copies & printing – The library has computers for you to print your documents as well as copy machines to make copies for a small fee.

Scanning – It is free to scan and email documents and images using our copy machine.

Wireless (wifi) & computers – We have free Wifi access for all patrons and computers for use with your library card.

Educator Request  – Use this form to request services for your classroom or homeschool. Services include book lists, story times, book talks, research presentations, and library resources.
