Read anytime, anywhere by checking out books on OverDrive/Bridges Iowa’s eLibrary. OverDrive is a downloadable resource that is growing in popularity among library patrons who want to check out Ebooks and audiobooks on their computer, IPhone, Android, Kindle, Nook or IPad.  There is a wide selection of books from best sellers to classics in many different genres. Books are available 24/7 from the Sioux Center Public Library website so it doesn’t matter if you didn’t make it to the library in time to check out a book. Books are checked out for two weeks and automatically return so you never have late fees.

OverDrive is also a great resource for checking out books for kids and teens. The site makes it easy to find age appropriate books with separate children and teen collections. If your children need Accelerated Reader books OverDrive is the perfect resource to find books to read with your kids. It’s also great way to have a book handy for your kids between games at a tournament, on road trips, or when you’re waiting for a doctor’s appointment.

You can access OverDrive by going to our website and click on the ‘Downloads’ page. Then select the OverDrive icon and you’ll be directed to OverDrive’s site where you can create an account and log in using your 14-digit library card number.  If you need help accessing OverDrive on your device, just stop in the library and one of our staff members will be happy to assist you.

Check out OverDrive today and let us know what you think!
